19 - Laundry has inclusion of a 1914 - 1915 description. TEXAS was first US battleship to have a laundry for the enlisted. Enlisted were charged 40cents per month regardless of how much was washed. The 1st Lt was in charge of the laundry.
AUGUST
18 - Mascot Jim: 4 page story, from July 1919 to July 1923, published in June 1957 "The American Mercury" and written by Paul Schubert. Mr Schubert was a TEXAS officer, aboard from July 1919 to about July 1923. The article is the full version of the story in "Reader's Digest", July 1957.

21 Mast changes, 1913 - July 1925. There were a lot of modifications to the lookout positions, radio antennas, torpedo defense platforms and searchlight platforms.

22 - 14inch magazines: Inclusion of the 1914 shell capacity per magazine (maximum and allowable). Can compare with 1945. Inclusion of the number of powder bags in each powder magazine. Powder tanks (galvanized) were stored 6 tanks high.
20 - Fire Control System: Diagram identifying the information flow from the info originating points, through the creation of a firing solution and output to the guns. Also includes an equipment.
7 - Deck Plans: Included an AutoCAD version of the 29 Sep 1910 "Compartment/Access" plans, microfilm 32120-01. Used a copy of the 1944 AutoCAD to create the 1910 set by modifying the different compartment names and bulkheads. Also stated adding scans from the deck plans of 1931 and 1937.
