DRY-DOCK

13 December 1988 to 23 February 1990

I had avoided including this section for I had been concentrating on the US Navy period and this era did not seem like the past to me.  Time did slip away from me and what had been a current event is now part of history.  Time now to include.

I have been a BB35 volunteer since 2 November 1986 and I was afforded the privilege to be aboard BB35 when she was moved from Galveston to Green's Bayou and Green's Bayou back to  San Jacinto.  This was a thrill of a life time and will never happen again, which puts me and the others in a unique group.
