STEERING ARRANGEMENT

 

The links display sections of drawing "Proposed Diagrammatic Arrangement of Steering Stations and Leads", C&R 14346, Newport News 53734, 31 March 1911. (The proposed steering drawing was copied from microfilm aboard ship, scanned and extensively cleaned) .Annotations have been added to reflect steering changes through the years.  Not all of the 1911 arrangements were built (which are noted) but it does provide insight into options considered.
