BATTLESHIP TEXAS BB35  FORWARD MAST CHANGES

The forward mast and main mast have the same components with the exception of the buckets atop the masts having a different shape.

The below forward mast images and corresponding dates only reflect the appearance as of that particular period.  Except for the Pilot House enclosure of 20 October - 4 November 1918, it is unknown when the changes were made.

Between 12 March 1914 to June 1916, three different mast configurations have been identified but the other two can not put in an chronological order.  A lack of information and-or dated photos during this period prevents such an ordering.

Photos after the 4 January 1921 do not show any changes to the foremast configuration.
