USS CONSTITUTION 23 June - 5 July 1934

TEXAS is the 3rd ship above CONSTITUTION.  The 2nd ship above CONSTITUTION is NEW YORK.  Under enlargement, the names can be read, on the stern. The photo was not dated but by matching known items aboard to known dates Boston, the period of 23 June to 5 July 1934 was the only possible date.  The key determinate are the O3U-3 airplanes.  Three were aboard from the summer of 1933 to April of 1935.  In this time period of the O3U-3 being aboard with the TEXAS in Boston, was 23 June to 5 July 1934 The photo is courtesy of Texas Parks and Wildlife Dept
