JULY 1935 to Summer 1937

Start: "birdbath" platforms atop foremast and mainmast, added 12 April to 22 July 1935 Bremerton Navy Yard, Washington.  

End: June 1937 airplanes reassigned while with the training squadron but removal date is not known.  Airplanes were brought back aboard in the fall of 1939.
