25 February to 21 May 1944  and  25 July to 14 September 1944

1st Start  25 February 1944 Removed is the SC-1 radar antenna atop the foremast and the SG antenna from below the fire control tower to the SC-1 location.  Changes made Boston Navy Yard, 23 January and 25 February 1944.  

1st End:  22 May - 7 July, catapult not aboard.    7 July to 25 July catapult back aboard but lashed to the main deck.  

2nd Start:  25 July catapult reinstalled atop turret 3.  

2nd End: 14 September the last day underway in Measure 22 paint scheme.
